My name is Mark Kenbach, and I am asking for your help during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I am living with a serious and rare medical condition affecting my skull and brain. My condition involves an opening in the skull through which brain tissue and the protective membranes around the brain can protrude. This type of condition is known medically as an encephalocele/meningoencephalocele, although my exact diagnosis and treatment plan have been determined by my medical team.

Living with this condition has been extremely difficult, and I am now preparing for a major surgery that is currently planned for approximately two months from now. The surgery is necessary to repair the skull defect and address the affected area. Medical treatment, surgery, hospital care, examinations, medications, and recovery will create enormous financial costs.

My goal is to raise $500,000 to help cover the surgery and the many medical expenses associated with my treatment and recovery.

I know that $500,000 is a very large amount, but I am reaching out because I cannot face these expenses alone. Every donation, no matter how small, can bring me one step closer to receiving the treatment I need.
